Roger-Mark De Souza is the technical director for population, health, and environment at PRB. He directs strategic planning, technical oversight, fundraising, and outreach for PRB’s environmental program. For more than a decade, he has led teams of researchers, community leaders, and communication specialists to promote evidence-based policymaking, program development, and public participation on population, health, and environmental issues in Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America and the Caribbean. Mr. De Souza formerly worked at the World Resources Institute and the Pan American Development Foundation. He holds a master’s degree in development policy from George Washington University and a postgraduate degree in international relations from the University of the West Indies.
