Lori Ashford is program director for policy communications in International Programs at the Population Reference Bureau. She has authored and edited a wide range of publications on population and reproductive health, including Designing Population and Health Programs to Reach the Poor and PRB's widely disseminated Population Bulletin, "New Population Policies: Advancing Women's Health and Rights." She also trains researchers and professionals in developing countries to communicate data and information to policymakers. Ms. Ashford has a master's degree from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and 20 years of policy and management experience related to international population and development programs.
