Karen Hardee

Karen Hardee is a social demographer with more than 25 years of research, policy and programming experience in global reproductive health, maternal health, and HIV; gender; population and sustainable development; and climate change adaptation. She is president of Hardee Associates LLC and is a senior visiting fellow at PRB. She has held leadership and technical positions at Population Action International, the Futures Group, John Snow International, Family Health International, USAID and the U.S. Bureau of the Census. Hardee holds a Ph.D. in developmental sociology from Cornell University.
