Carl Haub holds the Conrad Taeuber Chair of Population Information at PRB. He has written many articles for publication in journals, on the PRB website, and for the general press on a broad range of U.S. and international demographic topics. Most noteworthy among his many published works is PRB’s annual World Population Data Sheet, which he has authored since 1980. A recognized expert in the field, he has compiled over 100 data sheets in the last 30 years, many of which have been translated into multiple languages.
Haub specializes in demography and health in India, a country where he has worked on demographic projects and presentations since 1994. He holds a master’s in demography from Georgetown University.
